I had the distinct privilege this weekend to attend the Drupal Camp Austin 2009 event, and had an absolute blast. I'd have to say my highlights were the keynote address by Ben Finklea (Volacci) on Building a Successful Drupal Business, Drupal Theming by Lauren Roth, Views, Views, Views by John "eight-bit" Robinson, Accelerated Grid Theming Using 960 with Todd Nienkerk, and Business Development For Drupal Development with Ron Northcutt.

Earlier this year, I was commissioned by good friend and fabulous Seattle chanteuse and songwriter Christy McWilson to design her next album cover, "Martini's Mansion". The album was released earlier this year and it was marvelously produced by Jim and Johnny Sangster.

The Desteenation T-shirt company in Seattle (Desteenation.com) has chosen the Magnolia Village Pub logo designed by Haradaworld.com as a part of the dazzling array of cool logo designs from taverns around the country. This was one of the very first Haradaworld clients, and my first real-paying job as a full-time freelancer.

I've been uploading my portfolio and other images to various design networking sites to "get the word out". Some of these are great, some just OK. The common thread between all of these, is that you can find fantastic designers at all of them. Great for inspiration and to get the ol' creative Kool-Aid flowing.
