Earlier this year, I was commissioned by good friend and fabulous Seattle chanteuse and songwriter Christy McWilson to design her next album cover, "Martini's Mansion". The album was released earlier this year and it was marvelously produced by Jim and Johnny Sangster.

Needless to say, it was an honor and I was happy to oblige. Here's what we came up with, try to guess the reference. You don't get a prize or anything, tho.

One of the funnest aspects of this particular piece was to duplicate the look of a 1940's movie title scene, using period correct typography, and the name Martini's Mansion makes a reference to a popular christmas movie of the period.
